Winter Critters and Anxious Anticipation

I’ve been working on a fun little winter-themed paper-pieced wall hanging.  Seriously, is this not the cutest pattern?

 

I stitched in the wood grain on the tree using my walking foot, and made some free motion swirls in the snowy background.

All thats left is to add facing instead of binding to this piece. I’m thankful for some great tutorials on the internet because this is a new technique for me.

I am proud to say that I am finishing projects without adding new ones to my to-do list (or buying fabric!). The struggle is real, my friends!
