Tinker Tote – Round 3
I’m back with another Tinker Tote! This one is my third version and I made it for a family friend out of Amy Butler’s Cameo line.
Just like my previous versions, the bag is fully lined and includes a basic pocket and a zipper pocket. You can see more details about those pockets in my previous posts: here and here.
The main difference for this project, is the size. My client asked that I make the bag a quarter size down from my previous versions. I’m a huge fan of this smaller size and now I want to remake my version!
The best part of Amy Butler’s beautiful fabrics is that they are perfect for fussy cutting. See the bridge, the gentleman and the wagon wheel?
My sweet and gorgeous friend, Chelsea, was kind enough to model the purse in front of our last remaining cherry blossoms. Thank you!
My biggest concern with shrinking the bag down was the handle length, but the smaller handles work well!
I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more bags in my future. They’re just so cute and great scrap busters.
Oh! If you want to make one too, the bag is from Tara Rebman’s Quilt-As-You-Go: Patchwork Bags Craftsy class. I’m a beginner bag maker and I thought her instructions were great!
