Snapshots Quilt Along – Playing Catch Up
Hello March! I’m finally seeing the signs of spring as our snow is almost completely melted away up here in northern Japan. We only have a few more weeks until the cherry blossoms will start to bloom – I can’t wait!
I was able to sneak in a few quilting hours this month to finish up all the blocks for the Snapshots Quilt Along. Aren’t they all so fun?
January – March were finished relatively on time.
And these were too! (I promise – evidence: HERE)
I even got blocks 7 and 8 done in August, but I didn’t finish 9 until recently. Oops!
The last few blocks went together really easily. That sweet sailboat was super simple despite those angles. Cue Jenny Doan’s voice telling us that the quilt looks like you worked really hard but it’s really very easy. I love watching her Youtube Tutorials, both for the fun quilts and her cheerful attitude. Is anyone else a Jenny fan?
Here they all are – lined up in a row just itching to be stitched together!
I’m hoping to have this top finished up by the end of the month. Each block has three borders so I have a lot of sashing strips to make. I can’t wait to see it all put together!
