Snapshots Quilt Along: Blocks 7 & 8

Happy Tuesday, friends!

I’ve been busy stitching up blocks 7 and 8 for the Snapshots quilt along. Don’t you wish you could have a bike just like that one?!

I’ve been traveling around a bit too, and a few weeks ago had the opportunity to visit Hokkaido, the large island directly north of mainland Japan. It was an absolutely amazing trip with our visit to Furano taking the cake.  Furano is known for its stunning lavender fields, and we were able to visit as they were in full bloom.

 

This field combined the lavender plants and other flowers for the most amazing view (and smell!) and I couldn’t help to be reminded of my Sparkler Quilt! Quiltspiration is everywhere!
