Finished Night Sky Quilt!

Last January, I finished my version of Julie Herman’s Night Sky Quilt. You can read my previous posts about the inspiration, progress and finished top.

I sent the top off to Teresa of Quilting is my Bliss to be quilted and she did an AMAZING job. Get ready for lots of pictures!

Einstein decided to be part of my photo shoot!

She quilted a couple of different designs in the stars.

I used a few of my leftover strips for the backing.

I also used some of my printable fabric to add a label into the backing.  I’ve never done that before, and I liked having the labeling done with the quilting.

Teresa used different colors for the different blocks which made the back look pretty awesome too.

This might be my favorite quilt so far.  Now to decide if I’m going to hang it or just snuggle with it!
