Dog Gone Cute: Fabric Pull

Lorna’s Dog Gone Cute Blog Hop doesn’t technically start until September, but I couldn’t help but pick out my fabrics ahead of time.  I picked up the pattern in Lorna’s Payhip Store (it’s a great, well written pattern!) and read through everything I need to make the mini version.  

I’ve decided to make some fun pink and purple pups.  I definitely wasn’t going for realistic! Complementary to the bright-colored prints, I’ve picked two near white prints that have pink accents for the faces, and a brown stripe for the little noses.

I’m getting a little out of my comfort zone, and doing a scrappy gray background using a collection of Fat Quarters I have on hand.  I think it’s really going to be fun!
