Blogger’s Quilt Festival – Diamonds Are Forever
You’ve probably all heard of the Blogger’s Quilt festival by now, but just in case you haven’t, here’s the scoop. Around the same time as quilt market, Amy at Amy’s Creative Side hosts a festival celebrating finished quilts of many of the quilty bloggers out there. It’s a great place to be inspired! (oh..and win prizes!)
I’m excited to reshare “Diamonds are Forever” as an entry into the mini category.
This scrappy happy quilt was made with leftover triangles from a table runner that I had made for my mom, which were then stitched them up into half square triangles. I laid them out on my design wall until I came up with this fun design, emphasizing the diamonds with some straight line stitching.
You can read all about it on my previous post, complete with a second version of “Diamonds are Forever!”
Be sure to visit the festival to vote (beginning November 1st) and for inspiration!
