Snapshots Quilt Along – Let Them Eat Cake

If you haven’t seen this fabulous snapshots quilt along, then you’re missing out.  Hosted by the Fat Quarter Shop, this adorable block of the month benefits St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

My wonderful hubby gifted me the kit for Christmas and it arrived in Japan before we did.  Of course, it was the first project that I wanted to work on when my machine arrived.  These fabrics are so super cute.

I’m a few months behind, but I got January’s block (Let Them Eat Cake) all stitched up.  I think this is my first time using a text print and I love it. The only downside:  I’m craving cake!

I have some secret sewing to do and then I’ll get back to the next few months. I hope you’re all having a fabulous week!
